Soccer training – Dribbling - Exercise:

Soccer drill procedure

Our 3-goal contest is a simple, but captivating drill. There is one special feature. The players share only one cone-circuit, which significantly narrows the dribble track. This makes ball control very difficult and leads to the loss of ball possession, but that's part of the game.

Description

Two players start to dribble around the first cone at the same time and then through the slalom track. The player who first reaches the shooting marker, may then chose on which goal to shoot. Depending on the distance, each goal has a different value. For a goal, you get one, two or three points. The player who reaches the shooting marker second cannot shoot at the goal, which the other player has previoulsy shot at.

Variations

- Goal with a goalkeeper at the end of the track: Only the first player can shoot.

Soccer coach tips

- Always train using both legs!
