Soccer training – Dribbling - Exercise:

Soccer drill procedure

These drills are intended to show how easy it is to liven up seemingly boring forms of training.

For dribbling relays, you need two teams that are then divided further into two teams each. Be sure to make the group sizes small, so as to avoid long waiting times. If there are a lot of participants in the training session, form more training fields. Remember that this drill only works if two teams are playing against each other on one field.

Now we’re going to leave the classical dribbling relay behind, and put two markers into the centre of the field. As usual, we’ve chosen an elaborate set-up in our animation. Clear boundaries and a good layout are sensible, and make the drills look even more attractive. Like when you’re eating, the eyes have an important role to play.

Description

Two teams stand opposite each other in two groups. On the trainer’s command, the players start to dribble across the centre of the training field towards the opposite side, to give the ball to a teammate on that side.
