Soccer drill procedure

Procedures aimed at scoring goals during soccer drills can often be combined with interesting pass sequences. Here, we need four groups of players, and the stations should at least be double-crewed. This enables the implementation of the unit with large groups, especially if we carry out the procedure on both sides of the playing field simultaneously.

In the video, we have realized this in an extreme manner, and a total of 24 players are being trained on both sides.

Description

The starting group is found at the base line where every player has a ball. The firs pass goes into the group which faces them on the opposite side. The passer of the ball runs through between the first two cones and offers himself for the return pass. He should direct the return pass into the next group as soon as possible. The receiver of the pass there immediately and precisely passes the ball into the running course of the goal scorer.

In our animation, players rotate counter-clockwise to the next group following the action. Concerning the set-up on the other side of the training field, players of course switch in the opposite direction.

Variations

- The passes are always controlled at first
- Set-up on the other side
- Sequence on both sides simultaneously, as in the video

Soccer coach tips
