Soccer drill procedure

In our groups of three, the player in the middle keeps having to cover long distances. Therefore, you should make sure that the players in the groups switch positions after each run. The wider you set up the playing field, the higher the strain and the demands of passing to the other side of the training field will be.

Description

The number of markings may vary; they only serve to demarcate the player's running path at the center. After each changeover, he must cross the marking line. The two exterior wing players must maintain their positions on the left and right sides of the marking line. The central player always "picks up" the ball on the sides and then passes it on to the player on the other side of the training field.

Variations

- High pass play to the other side

Soccer coach tips

- Consider the physical strain of your players when choosing the field's width.
