Soccer drill procedure

With a bit of imagination our practice structure looks like an electrical socket. The players on the sides of the rectangle are constantly moving and constantly adapt to the players in the center of the drill. Not very easy, because with increasing duration of the exercise, the physical stress increases, which makes it more and more difficult to maintain a good passing game. In the video we have summarized the variations shown here.

Description

We lay out a rectangle with markers. Two markers are added to the center of the rectangle which mark the area for the center players. A player on the side of the rectangle has a ball at his disposal and opens the play with a pass to the player in the center. The passer then runs to the other side and there makes himself available for the back pass. After he receives the ball, he passes it to the opposite side of the rectangle, where the third player controls the ball and again passes it into the center. In the meantime the player there has offered himself there for a pass. This way the action continues on and and on and it creates a “cycle".

Variations

- Exercise intensity increases the shorter the distances are.

Soccer coach tips

- This exercise is also fitting as a passing exercise with different pass techniques.
